About The Crib
The Crib is what we called my place — where friends gathered to play, trade and argue about Magic. It's the same idea, opened up.
The name
It started at a kitchen table in Fort Langley, BC. Cards everywhere, someone always brewing something terrible. That's The Crib. This site is the same table with more chairs — open to collectors across the west coast, not just the people who could drive over.
What we're about
Fair, affordable Magic. Prices come off the live market rate in CAD, adjusted for condition and refreshed nightly — no inflated list price to discount from, no coupon games. You should be able to build the deck you want without it being a financial decision.
Community first
This is run by a collector, for collectors. If you need something I don't have, ask and I'll look. If you're selling or trading, you get a straight answer instead of a lowball. If a card shows up wrong, I make it right.
Cards and condition
Everything is graded conservatively — a card on the line between two grades gets the lower one. Anything over about $50 is photographed individually so you see the actual copy.
Where it ships from
Fort Langley, BC. Two or three days across the coast, and free pickup if you're in the Lower Mainland — which is also the best way to meet and talk cards.
